CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Front stepping during a rainy Saturday night (June 8), Roll Em (Time To Roll) opened up to win the $4,000 Preferred Pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Marc Campbell scored a driving triple on the 13-dash card including the featured event with the Brent Campbell trained Roll Em in 1:54.2. The trainer co-owns the horse with Brady Doyle, Ryan MacLeod and Savage Stable. All Bets On Tex (Driven by Adam Merner) finished two-and-a-half lengths back in second with Twin B Tuffenuff (Gilles Barrieau) third.
Driver Campbell and trainer Campbell also teamed up to win with Pendleton Rodeo for the Betting Line colt’s fourth straight, this time in 1:56.3. Marc Campbell was aboard Avatar J in the race 13 finale for his third driving win in 1:57.1 from the Darren Smith barn.
Corey MacPherson opened up the program with the daily double from his own barn as Howmac Exclusive won in 1:57.2 in race 1 and Roll On Lewis won race 2 in 1:59.1 for the trainer-driver.
The Race 6 Crane Supply Pace had Watchmaker win in 1:56.2 for driver Mike Downey, trainer Ellen Stevenson and owner Dr. Mitchell Downey.
