CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The Jennifer Doyle Stable was firing on all cylinders on the Sunday afternoon (Dec. 3) harness racing program at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park with three wins on the 15-dash program.

The Earnscliffe barn prevailed in the $3,800 Preferred Pace with Mike McGuigan steering No Plan Intended to a 1:55.4 victory using first-over tactics for the pacer’s third straight win. Pacesetter Time To Dance (Driven by Marc Campbell) had to settle for second with Island Beach Boy (Gilles Barrieau) third.

The Doyle barn also visited the winner’s circle in race 11 with Mantario (David Dowling) in 1:57.3 and Winter Blast (Jason Hughes) in 1:58 in race 5. All the Doyle trained winners are owned by Danny Birt.

Hughes had a pair of wins on the day to now sit at 1,999 lifetime victories.

Campbell was the top driver of the day as he extended his lead in the dash standings.

Campbell began his winning in race 3 with the Stanley Harper trained Jetster (1:58.4) then followed up in race 4 with Cabot Beach (1:56.1) from the Brent Campbell stable. Howmac Agustus (1:59) completed a triple in race 8 for trainer Kyle Williams in the Painted Pony Retirement Pace.

Live racing continues Saturday (Dec. 9) and Sunday (Dec. 10) at Red Shores Charlottetown starting at 12:30 P.M.
