CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The Time To Win will have all her foes on her left side in the Thursday evening featured pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. The top pace is carded as race 10 of the night card with a 6 P.M. opening post time for the 11-dash harness racing presentation.

Marc Campbell retains the drive on The Time To Win in the $2,600 class for trainer Ron Matheson and owner Shirley Weeks of Hunter River. The seven-year-old daughter of Western Ideal has drawn post 5 in the field of as many while fresh off a 1:56.3 win in her latest start.

She will be looking for win number 20 of her career as she adds to her $120,523 in lifetime earnings.

Lyons Jennielee finished third in The Time To Win’s victory last week and has post 4 on Thursday with Ken Murphy at the lines for trainer Chris Davies. The daughter of Somebeachsomewhere has already seen the winner’s circle four times in 2021 including a 1:55.4 seasonal best performance in Charlottetown.

The inside belongs to rail sitter Southwind Ion (To be driven by Jason Hughes), along with Gonna Fool Ya (David Dowling) with post 2 and Dustylane Zambucca (Corey MacPherson) riding a pair of second place finishes into post 3.

Peter MacPhee has The Time To Win on top of his Post Time Picks.

“The Time To Win powered to the front last out and was a going away winner in 1:56.3. She’s moving to post five this week and those closing panels are brisk so it could be a repeat performance in the feature.”

The $2,700 Open trot hits the track in race 7 as a field of five will put their noses on the starting gate. Daisy River is morning line favorite from post 2 as the daughter of Nikes Image has six wins and five seconds from 13 seasonal starts for the team of driver Jason Hughes and owner-trainer William Lanigan.

Her top foes are slated to be Freddie (Campbell) and Osprey Delta (Kenny Arsenault). Glider Man (Adam Merner) upset this class last week and has post 5 while Go With Her (Brodie MacPhee) will leave off the rail.

Catch all the action live at the track or tune into the worldwide broadcast at Redshores.ca. Live streaming is also available on the Red Shores Youtube page and you can wager online at HPIBet.com.
