The championship for drivers 30 and younger with less than 100 lifetime wins had eight finalists after legs in P.E.I., and Nova Scotia. JJ Patrick and driver Brady Sweet went to the lead in the Tuesday evening championship and went through splits of 29.1, 59.2, 1:29 and 1:59.2 to win by a length over La Vie En Rose (Driven by Kyle Desroche) while Bohannon (Jaycob Sweet) finished third. Rick Armstrong trains and co-owns JJ Patrick for co-owner Marc Gallant of Summerside.

The series was sponsored by Red Shores, PEI Harness Racing Industry Association, NS Harness Racing Industry Association, and the Andrew family. Sweet received the Andrew Family Memorial Driving Award and a free race bike powder coating from Wicked Powder Coating in Miscouche, PE.

The $3,600 featured pace had Wind Blown (Paul Langille) win in 1:53.3 by open lengths with American Risk (Corey MacPherson) second and Tony Too Tall (Myles Heffernan Sr.) third. Phil Sizer trains the winning horse for owners Doug Polley Sr., Doug Polley Jr., and Gordon and Joanne McComb.

Brookdale Jim gave Paul Langille a career moment winning his 500th race as a driver in 1:58.4 for trainer Sizer.

Trainer Chris MacKay and driver Jason Hughes doubled up with Wizard (1:57.3) and Harlequin Romance (1:59.1).

Tammy Collings had a training double with Brokeandoutofgas (2:00) and Brocks Fortune (2:00.1), both with Damian MacLellan in the seat.
