CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – After turning in one of his best East Coast performances, Boys Turn (Shadow Play) will take on the best this Saturday afternoon (Nov. 5) in the featured harness racing pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The Capital oval has a 10-dash card getting underway at 12:30 P.M. with the $3,150 Preferred 2 pace lining up in race 9.
David Dowling drives Boys Turn from his own Springvale stable from post 3 for the ownership group of Clair Murphy and Joel and Jeremy Watts. The six-year-old was ultra-impressive in his latest race winning in 1:53.4 off the front end for his fourth win of the season.
Spicey P has a string of top-three finishes on the line from post 4 for trainer-driver Jason Hughes as the son of Up The Credit – Sydney Seelster has been sharp since coming East.
Nogreatmischief (Walter Cheverie) has rail control with Moonwriter (Marc Campbell) sure to be aggressive from post 2. Blue Monk holds down post 5 with Myles Heffernan Sr., getting the catch driving call.

Campbell continues to run away with the top driver and top trainer title at the capital oval with 17 race programs left in 2022. Campbell has 113 driving wins at Red Shores Charlottetown this year leading second place David Dowling at 92 winners.
On the training side, Campbell has sent 56 horses to the winner’s circle from his Orwell barn with Melissa Rennie in second with 39 wins.
The race for leading owner is a runaway with Jennifer Doyle and Danny Birt of Earnscliffe recording 32 wins from 158 starts. Debbie Element of Village Green, wife of trainer Colin Johnson is second with 19 wins as an owner.
No Plan Intended Looks For More
CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – No Plan Intended (Up The Credit) will be assigned the outside seat as he looks for his third straight Preferred victory on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 6) at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The city track has 10-dashes on top Sunday afternoon with a 12:30 P.M. start time.
The $3,500 Preferred pace lines up in race 9 of the day with No Plan Intended leaving from post 5 in the featured pace. Jason Hughes drives the pacer for co-owner and trainer Jennifer Doyle and co-owner Danny Birt of Earnscliffe. The Gold Cup and Saucer runner-up has won by open lengths his last two starts and will be heavily favoured again Sunday.
Stash It Away graduates from his stakes career and gets post 3 in the Preferred pace after earnings $107,300 from 29 career starts on the Atlantic Stakes trail at ages 2 and 3. Kevin MacLean trains the son of Pang Shui for owner Reg MacPherson of Stratford with Marc Campbell getting the catch driving call. Regular driver Corey MacPherson is committed to post 2 entrant Screen Test from the Ron Gass stable at 4-1 morning line odds. Burn Out Hanover (Brady Sweet) will undoubtedly have some say in the opening quarter as the hard leaver has rail control. No Plan Intended’s stablemate, Mantario, has post 4 with David Dowling at the lines.
The Post Time Picks have No Plan Intended as the most probable winner of the day.

His top rivals are slated as Mr Rielly (MacPherson) from post 6 and St Charlesfireball (Campbell) with post 5.
