CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Sitting chilly for the duration of the mile, Redlandbethanyjean (Artspeak) showed up for the final quarter to get it all in the harness racing featured pace Thursday (Oct. 12) evening at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Brodie MacPhee supplied the perfect steer behind in the $2,700 featured pace as Redlandbethanyjean was taken back at the start to sit fifth while You Aint Dolly (Driven by Kenny Arsenault) demanded the lead to the opening quarter of 27.3 then hit the half in 56.4. Three-quarters were reached in 1:26.3 by the front stepping You Aint Dolly with Redlandbethanyjean positioned second-over before the Tom Weatherbie trainee pounced in the stretch to win in 1:55.

The winning mare is owned by Redland Farms of Bible Hill, N.S. You Aint Dolly hung on for second while Woodmere Rolllily (Adam Merner) was third.
The evening also had a pair of $3,200 All Star Cresting Prospect Trot Series divisions with three-year-old Angus Hall gelding Mile Hill Gus taking a maiden breaking record of 2:05.1 in his division for driver Corey MacPherson and owner-trainer Paul Morrison of Cardigan.
Camco Laraido (E L Rocket) won the other split in 2:02.2 for driver Ken Murphy, trainer Kyle Desroche and owner Leah Ann Moyer of Summerside.
The duo of driver Marc Campbell and trainer Brent Campbell teamed up for a pair of wins as Windemere Saddy had a maiden breaking score of 1:59.4 in race 3 and The Lady Sheriff won race 7 in 1:57.3.
