The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has issued a reminder that the 30-day transition period for harness racing trainers to update their licenses and come into compliance with the new stabling location reporting requirement will be ending July 5, 2023. Violations will result in a minimum $300 monetary penalty, absent exceptional circumstances.
The AGCO isĀ requiring licensed trainers to report all stabling locations they operate under their license, including any location changes to the Registrar within five days. Trainers will be required to submit all of their stabling locations but are not required to identify where each individual horse is stabled.
Licensed trainers will be able to update the stabling location(s) through the iAGCO online portal.
To further support licencees with this new provision, the AGCO has developed the following resource:Ā Tip Sheet ā How to Report a Stabling Locations in iAGCO.
