Two daughters of Resolve picked up points in the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots standings in divisions of the fifth harness racing leg for three-year-old trotting fillies at Grand River Raceway on Wednesday (Sep. 8).
Socks N Crocs snagged a second consecutive Grassroots victory in the first split. Doug McNair ordered a pocket pop from the filly as they entered the second quarter, and the pair led from there to the finish in a 1:57.1 victory. Saint Antoine (Scott Young) was second over Grace (James MacDonald).
