Ryan Guy sent the mare three-wide from post five into a speed duel entering the first turn, and she battled past the quarter mile pole in :28 to take the lead. Guy kept a sharp tempo through the middle panels, which they completed in :56.4 and 1:24.3.
Thinkingofyoubabe (Guy Gagnon) was the only foe in striking range turning for home, and she closed in as they entered the stretch. Reys N A Rocket drifted out but fought back and outlasted her rival to take her fifth straight victory by half a length. Thinkingofyoubabe flattened out and finished second. Arrhythmogenic (Daniel St. Pierre) was third.
