Rideau cancels, Mohawk to race

Rideau Carleton Raceway has canceled its harness racing card for Thursday (Jun. 29) due to the poor air quality index in Ottawa.

The air quality is listed as a “10+” — very high risk.

Woodbine Mohawk Park, with an air quality index of 4, has confirmed that it will host live racing. Its first post is 7 p.m. EDT. The track said it will continue monitoring the air quality situation.
