CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Roll Em (Time To Roll) will try to cap off Atlantic Breeder’s Crown Championship Sunday with rail control in the $50,000 Premier’s Cup at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The 16-dash Championship harness racing card starts at 12:30 P.M., with the Premier’s Cup Final in race 16.
Roll Em (To be driven by Marc Campbell) gets post 1 from the Brent Campbell stable with the trainer co-owning alongside Brady Doyle, Ryan MacLeod and Savage Stable in a field of eight.
The sophomore titans meet again in the race 12 Atlantic Breeder’s Crown Final for three-year-old pacing colts. The $30,000 dash has Tobins Chester (Jason Hughes) the top pick with rail control for trainer Ashley Gamester and owner Donald MacRae of Vernon Bridge. His competition includes Jackies Boy (Myles Heffernan Sr.) and Merigo Magic (Adam Merner).
Fern Hill Indio (Brodie MacPhee) is the morning line favourite in the $30,000 Atlantic Breeder’s Crown Final for three-year-old pacing fillies in race 10 from the Tom Weatherbie barn for owner Next Generation Stable.
Malevolent (Paul Langille) goes for four-straight in the $30,000 Atlantic Breeder’s Crown two-year-old pacing colt final from post 5. Debbie Francis and Rosanne Langille share ownership of the son of Malicious.
Muchtooyoungforyou (Campbell) is the morning line favourite in the two-year-old pacing filly Atlantic Breeder’s Crown Final with post 7. Earl Watts trains the Flameproof Hanover filly for owners Windemere Farms, Matt Burke and River Valley Management.
Race 2 is the Atlantic Breeder’s Crown two-year-old trot final with the three-year-old trot final in race 6. Both races carry $17,500 purses. West River Jet (Ken MacDonald) gets top billing in the rookie trot final for trainer Clare MacDonald and owner Haley MacDonald. Rocket Blast (Corey MacPherson) heads for his fourth straight in the sophomore trot final for owner-trainer Carl Bagnall.
Race 14 is the $15,500 Steven and Joe MacRae Memorial Open Pacing Mares Final.
Race 9 is the $12,600 Island Oceans Trot Classic Final, presented by Burkie By The Bay Stable.

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Jack Boswall (Tobago Cays) has stamped himself as one of the top colts in Atlantic Canada and will aim for the winner’s circle on Consolation Saturday during the Atlantic Breeder’s Crown Weekend Of Champions, presented by MacRae’s Backhoe and Trucking, at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The capital oval has a 14-dash presentation starting at 12:30 P.M., with the three-year-old pacing colt consolation carrying a $7,500 pot in race 12. Keith MacDonell co-owns and trains Jack Boswall with co-owners Mark MacDonell and Blenise Young. Marc Campbell drives the son of Tobago Cays.
He is up against seven foes including Heres To Art (Arthur Blue Chip, Ken Murphy) and Ididitmyshui (Pang Shui, Jason Hughes).
Jack Boswall is on top of the Post Time Picks in race 12.

Race 9 is the $7,500 Atlantic Breeder’s Crown three-year-old pacing filly consolation with Downtown Tonight (Adam Merner) on top with rail control against First Filly Chip (Corey MacPherson) and Woodmere Delta (David Dowling). Tom Weatherbie trains Downtown Tonight for Cam and Gordon MacPhee.
Prince Malicious (Hughes) gets top billing in the race 6 two-year-old pacing colt consolation for $7,500. The Ashley Gamester trainee is owned by Donald MacRae of Vernon Bridge. His opponents include Phil My Beer (Marc Campbell) and Dilicious (Gilles Barrieau).
Race 3 is the Atlantic Breeder’s Crown consolation for two-year-old pacing fillies with Badgirl Bridgette heading for her sixth straight from post 6. Hughes drives for owner-trainer William Lanigan of Cambridge. Her foes are seven strong with Cast Away Moon (Barrieau) and Howmac Maleficent (Ken Murphy).
The Atlantic Breeder’s Crown Banquet will be held Saturday evening at Red Shores Charlottetown starting at 7 P.M.
