CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Stepping on the gas pedal at the end of the harness racing mile, Roll Em (Time To Roll) cruised to a Saturday (Sept. 2) evening Preferred score at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The ‘King Of Island Racing’ Marc Campbell was in the race bike behind his trainee as he cleared to the lead past the 27.2 opening quarter in the $3,800 Preferred Pace then hit the half in 55.2.
The Gold Cup and Saucer finalist backed down the third split with a 29.4 quarter for a 1:25.1 clocking then kicked home in 27.2 to complete the mile in 1:52.3 while defeating a charging Twin B Tuffenuff (Driven by Gilles Barrieau). Fellow Campbell trainee Time To Dance (Ken Murphy) finished third.
The winner is shared in ownership by Brady Doyle, Brent Campbell, Ryan MacLeod and Savage Stable.

Campbell continues his iron grip for the dash title as he won four races on the night including Acrobat Hanover (1:54.1) from the Lenny Myers stable, Bacononabiscuit (1:55.1) for trainer Stacey Darrach and Roll Your Coin (1:59.3) from the Mike McGuigan outfit.
Driver Barrieau saw victories with Blood Money (1:55) in race 8 for Ron Matheson, JK Express (1:57.2) for trainer Jared Perrot and Kataparka (1:56) from the Melissa Rennie barn for the triple. Rennie had a pair of training victories on the evening as she also conditions race 5 winner Nolan Magic Shui (1:59) who had Ken Murphy above the wheels.
Springvale driver David Dowling scored a triple with Slate N (1:55.3) for Wade Myers, First Glance (1:52.4) in the $3,300 back-up class for trainer Jennifer Doyle and Well Lets See (1:58.1) in a 29-1 upset for the Hardy family of Georgetown in race 7.
Live racing continues Monday afternoon at 1 P.M. for a special Labour Day program at Red Shores Summerside with National Caretakers Appreciation Day presented by Standardbred Canada along with Volunteer Fire Department Appreciation Day.
