CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Marc Campbell was a popular visitor in the Red Shores harness racing winner’s circle as he captured four dashes including the Preferred Pace with Roll Em (Time To Roll) on Sunday afternoon at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Roll Em was an open-length winner in the $4,200 Preferred Pace in 1:53.1 over pacesetter Twin B Tuffenuff (Driven by Gilles Barrieau) and Blood Money (David Dowling). Marc Campbell was in the driver’s seat for trainer and co-owner Brent Campbell and co-owners Ryan MacLeod, Brady Doyle and Savage Stable.
Leading driver Marc Campbell also won with Allaboutthecash (1:57.2) for trainer Jeff Holmes, Battle Of York (1:58) for Taylor Doyle and Spack Jarrow (1:58) from the Raymond White barn.
Trainer Ron Matheson and driver Barrieau scored two victories with Rockemsockem Scott (1:55) and TH Boomtown (1:57) for the Captain Crunch colt’s fifth straight victory to remain undefeated on P.E.I.
Jennifer Doyle continues to lead all trainers and had two wins as Damian MacLellan steered Luckiestmanalive (Luck Be Withyou) to a 1:56.1 win and Dowling rocked First Glance to a 1:56 triumph.
