Roll With The Flow (Roll With Joe) returned to winning ways to open his 2022 account with a hard-fought harness racing victory at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Tuesday (Jan. 10).
Travis Henry mobilized the gelding from the four-hole to go second-over at three-eighths and made the decisive three-wide move as the field neared three-quarters. Roll With The FlowāsĀ first burst took him to the top, and he continued to battle wide around far turn. Ideal Perception (Austin Sorrie) gave late chase, but Roll With The Flow kept him a neck short for the victory in 1:56.3. Cheddar Bay (J. Bradley Harris) was third.

Sizzlen Hot Herbie (Here Comes Herbie) kicked off his season successfully with a narrow win in 2:00.2 in the co-featured Preferred Handicap Trot. The gelding, who recently turned nine, exploded from the pocket through the narrowest of gaps that opened late in the stretch to nail Run Like Hill (Samuel Fillion) by a head on the line. Charmbo Prince (Paul Mackenzie) held third.
