SUMMERSIDE, PE – On top at every call, Sauble Attack (Bettors Delight) paced away from his foes in the Tuesday evening (Oct. 17) harness racing featured pace at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.
Ken Murphy was swinging on the son of Bettors Delight as Sauble Attack led through splits of 27.4, 58 and 1:26.4 in the $3,600 feature. Final time was 1:55.2 with Sauble Attack four-lengths ahead of Frontier Cruise (Driven by Brady Sweet) with Soccer Hanover (Corey MacPherson) third to complete the $442.50 triactor ticket. Paul Biggar co-owns and trains the winning pacer with Donald Callbeck of Summerside.
SAUBLE ATTACK REPLAY
David Dowling was the most popular driver of the night winning race 1 with Parole Violation (Big Bad John, 1:59.4) for trainer Mike Dowling, race 5 with Mill Pond Cheyenne (Immachulate, 2:00.1) for Lee Johnson, race 10 aboard Youremyhearthrob (Some Heart Throb, 1:57.4) from his own stable and race 11 with Rock The Baby (Rockin Image, 1:56.2) from the Earl Watts operation.
The duet of driver Patrick Shepherd and trainer Kyle Williams grabbed a pair of victories with Sports Icon (1:58) in race 9 and Redland Misspretty (2:00.2) in race 7.
Paul Langille took some of his stable over from his Bible Hill, N.S., base and celebrated wins with Good Omen (1:58.4) in a late charge in the race 4 John Stewart Memorial and Well Did (1:57.3) in race 12.
Tobins Future (MacPherson) won the Cecil James Stewart Memorial in race 2 stopping the clock in 1:59.1 for trainer Marvyn Webster.
Get Home Terry (Dale Spence) bested the field in the race 6 Leon James Stewart Memorial for trainer Edgar Stewart in 1:58.3.
