So Frisky (Dali) cruised to a three-length harness racing victory in the Fillies and Mares Preferred Handicap on Friday (Feb. 10) at The Raceway at the Western Fair District to end a four-race run of second-place finishes.
The mare, driven by Colin Kelly, built up a two-and-a-half-length cushion after attaining the lead in a :29.1 first quarter. She carried the advantage through the half in :59, three-quarters in 1:27.4, and came home a three-length winner in 1:57.4. My Mother Pearl (Anthony Haughan) was best of the rest. Randomirogeo (Travis Henry) was third.

The victory was So Friskyās 30th in her 106 career starts. The seven-year-old has earned $238,053. She had a strong 2022 with seven wins in 26 outings. Anita Ouellette trains the mare for Luc Ouellette Incorporated of Campbellville.
Tyler Borth took three wins on the card to pad his lead in the driversā standings. His tally ofĀ 34 leads by nine over Garrett Rooney.
The Raceway at the Western Fair District resumes on Monday, Feb. 13 at 5:50 p.m. EST.
