So Much More (Big Jim) increased her Fillies and Mares Open winning streak to seven in a tight victory at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Friday (Oct. 14).
The mare was on a front-end mission for James MacDonald, making a quick move to the top and maintaining her command through :27.2 and :56.1 fractions. Dabarndawgswatchin (Louis-Philippe Roy) bit the bullet and moved first-up as the field banked into the homebound turn.
So Much More kept the challenger a length adrift as they sprinted for the finish. Dabarndawgswatchin unleashed a final surge nearing the wire, but So Much More found the line with a neck to spare in 1:50.2.
Shes Got It All (Travis Cullen) picked up places late for third.
