With the temperatures reaching -8°C, Brandon Campbell ordered the mare right to the top in a :27.4 opening panel. She took two left turns and kept pocket-sitter Daisy Corvette (Michael Hennessy) at bay to take the victory in 1:53. Saphire Blue (David Kelly) was best of the rest.

STASH THE COOKIES REPLAY

Stash The Cookie’s 100-win milestone came with her 30th career victory. The mare has now earned $313,359 and has won three of her past four tries at the Preferred level. John Chappell trains the seven-year-old for Derek Gilbert of Brandon.

Trainer David Kelly had a big night with four winners. The first was a 38-1 shocker with Outlaw Blue Isle (Blue Burner), who circled from seventh and battled to victory in 1:56.1 with Kelly on board. The conditioner then won the second in a romp with Cf Saving Grace (Santanna Blue Chip), a maiden-breaking score in 1:58.2. His other winners were Outlaw Allie Oops (Blue Burner, 1:56.1) and Cease Fire (Vertical Horizon, Phil Giesbrecht, 1:58.2). Kelly also drove Go On Bow Bow (Lambretta), whom he does not train, to a win.

Century Mile sees racing next on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 6:15 p.m. MST.
