Sunshineinmypocket (Dali) held on for a narrow harness racing victory in the Pop-up Series final in lifetime-best time and a big upset on Thursday (Jun. 22) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
Tyler Jones commanded a move to the front after taking a brief tuck**, and Sunshineinmypocket took over coming down the backside. The mare led into the stretch with a two-length lead over pocket-sitter Darkrshadeofpale N (Bob McClure), and held off that rivalās late rush to secure the victory in 1:51. The latter was short by a head. The Ideal Huntress (Louis-Philippe Roy) flew home for third. The winner returned $59.90.
