Therealprincess (Source Of Pride) improved her season’s record to three-for-three with a dominant win in the Atlantic Sires Stakes season opener on Friday (Jun. 17) at Truro Raceway.
The sophomore filly, coming off successive wins in the P.E.I. Corey MacPherson got her there before stopping the clock on the first quarter mile in :28.1.
Therealprincess headed her three-year-old pacing filly rivals through :58.3 and 1:28.2 middle panels and created five lengths of separation from them as she cruised to the finish for a 1:56.3 victory.
Orrsterror (Gilles Barrieau) finished second. Mystical Gal (Dale Spence) was third. The win price was the $2.10 minimum.
