They can’t stop Outlaw C My Shadow

Outlaw C My Shadow (Shadow Play) tightened his grip on the Fraser Downs harness racing throne with an eighth straight victory, again in dominant fashion, in the Open Handicap on Friday (Mar. 17).

In his easiest win of the meet, the gelding cruised through :27.3 and :57 panels while leading by several lengths. Buddys Hope (Allan Molloy) did his best to close the gap, but Outlaw C My Shadow scorched away again for Brandon Campbell in the last quarter to notch another victory. Waitin Ona River (Kevin Anderson) circled the rest of the field to take the place spot. Buddys Hope finished third.

OUTLAW C MY SHADOW REPLAY

Outlaw C My Shadow has won eight races in a row, all in the top condition at Fraser Downs, including his first six starts of 2023. The six-year-old is now 18-for-88 lifetime with $165,322. Constance Kolthammer trains him for Outlaw West Stable of Falun.

Fraser Downs will continue action on Thursday, Mar. 23.
