Del Diggity (So Surreal) swept the Pop-Up Series with a victory in the harness racing final at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Thursday (Feb. 22) while changing hands for the third straight week.
The mare, racing this time for trainer Richard Moreau, slotted into the three-hole from post nine and sat in that position through the first-half fractions of :27.2 and :55.4. James MacDonald directed her off the pylons entering the final turn and pulled her three-wide approaching three-quarters in 1:25.1.
Del Diggity took aim at pacesetter Proud Of My Roots (Jonathan Drury) from the outside and soared to the front in the final eighth of a mile. Greystone Treasure (Travis Cullen) flew from the back to mount a late bid, but Del Diggity was home in time for the 1:54.2 victory.

Del Diggity completed a grand slam with the win to up her seasonal tally to four wins in six starts. She was claimed in all three legs of the Pop-Up Series. She has won 18 times and has collected $125,810 in earnings in 91 lifetime starts. Sylvain Cote and Robert Bernicky owned the six-year-old; Gary Bickford will have the mare out for her next start.
Moreau won three races on the night. Goldies Rockin (Rockin Image, MacDonald, 1:52.2) and Hillbilly Jet (Ponder, MacDonald, 1:53.1) also scored for the trainer.
