Dreydl Hanover (Cams Card Shark) has so far been unbeatable at 13, and he added a sixth consecutive harness racing victory to his career tally with a two-length win at Flamboro Downs on Thursday (Jan. 26).
The gelding strolled through the first half in the three-hole before following Colin Kellyās instruction to go on the attack in the third panel. The gelding tangled with leader Hercule J M (J. Bradley Harris) throughout the final quarter vanquished that foe in the closing stages to seal a 1:57.1 win. Hercule J M held second. American Sniper (Travis Cullen) was four-and-a-half further lengths back in third.
DREYDL HANOVER REPLAY
It was the 34th lifetime score for Dredyl Hanover, who debuted in 2012. He has earned $256,411 in 278 career starts. The gelding, now trained by Raphael Bourassa, is perfect through three appearances this season and has won all of his past six since returned to Southwestern Ontario from the Quebec/Ottawa circuit in November. Francois Morin of Beaceville owns the gelding.
Kelly won two other races on the day for a driving triple.
Flamboro Downs will next host racing on Saturday, Jan. 28 with a 6:35 p.m. EST first post.
