Eastcoast Invader (Rollwithitharry) took his third consecutive harness racing victory in the Winners-Over at Inverness Raceway on Wednesday (Jul. 10).
In line to Monica Sutherland, he secured the pocket through the first turn as Windemere Best Man broke stride and was forced to drop in third. Leader Shir Gain set panels of :30.2 and 1:00, being hustled along by the first over Windemere Best Man through the third quarter.
Shir Gain took the lead through three-quarters in 1:29.2 and into the final turn, but Eastcoast Invader got clearance and popped the pocket, quickly overwhelming the pacesetter. Eastcoast Invader drove clear for an open-length win under wraps in 1:58.3.
Shir Gain finished second over the gaining Delightful Wine.
