Sauble Lila (State Treasurer) racked up her 15th win this harness racing season as she took a fifth consecutive victory at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Friday (Dec. 13).
The winningest sophomore filly in North America this year let four of five rivals past her from the pylon post and sat fifth to the quarter in :28.4. She shifted out for Scott Wray at the half in 1:00.1 and was carried second-over to three-quarters in 1:29.4.
Sauble Lila launched off cover on the final turn and was on top by the head of the stretch, firing clear to a length-and-a-half score in 1:59.4.
Red Sky Tonight (Samuel Fillion) finished second from third-over. Dinner And Dancing (Garrett Rooney) was third.

Sauble Lila debuted this season for trainer Otis Hall and owner/breeders Sauble Hill Farms and Nasussito Racing. She has earned $76,061 and won 15 of her 27 starts, including her City of London final.
