Time To Dance quadruples Campbell at Summerside

SUMMERSIDE, PE – Time To Dance (A Rocknroll Dance) turned a two-hole ride into perfection in the Tuesday evening harness racing feature at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.

The Marc Campbell driven Time To Dance snagged the lion’s share of the $3,800 featured pace in a head decision over pacesetter Howmac Charmer (Driven by David Dowling) in 1:55.4. Brent Campbell co-owns and trains the eight-year-old with co-owners Brady Doyle and Kent MacDonald.

TIME TO DANCE REPLAY

Driver Marc Campbell had four wins on the night including another win from the Brent Campbell stable as recently minted Atlantic Breeder’s Crown Champion Galway Girl won in 1:56.4 in race 11. Marc Campbell also visited the winner’s circle with Sharky (1:58.3) for trainer John McGuirk and Marleys Boy (1:59.4) for trainer Earl Watts.

The Jennifer Doyle stable came to play Tuesday evening in Summerside with a pair of wins. Winter Blast (Dowling) won race 3 in 1:58.4 while Write The Rules (Dowling) was the best in race 9 in a an identical 1:58.4 clocking. Dowling also won with the Mike Dowling trained Shes Rockandfame (2:00) in race 7 for the driving triple.

Driver Mike Downey teamed up with trainer Ellen Stevenson for a pair of wins with Therealprincess (1:57.4) in race 6 and Watchmaker (1:56.2) in the race 14 finale.

Corey MacPherson also made a trio of trips to the track photographer with driving wins with Almost Amos (1:58) and Doc Awesome (1:57.1) for trainer Dwane MacEachern and Here Comes Emmett (1:57.4) for conditioner Melvin Gamester.

Live racing continues Thursday evening at 6 P.M and Saturday with a double-header at 12PM and 6PM featuring the Home Hardware Maritime Breeders at Red Shores Charlottetown.
