Arguably, the greatest invitational pacer in the history of Atlantic Canadian harness racing is set to call the United States home after Time To Dance (A Rocknroll Dance) was recently sold.
The five-year-old gelding has become a household name in East Coast racing after winning the 2020 Gold Cup and Saucer final for trainer-driver Marc Campbell and owners Matt McDonald of Edwards, Ont., and Brent Campbell of Charlottetown.
The invitational star is headed to the Sarah Andrews stable at The Meadows in Pennsylvania with a reported price tag of just shy of six figures in Canadian dollars.
The top-level pacer was claimed as a four-year-old for $18,750 at Flamboro Downs in Dundas, Ont., and brought east to be entrusted with trainer Marc Campbell.
He reeled off success after success in 2020, 2021 and 2022, winning every invitational event on the East Coast with 49 starts over three years resulting in 31 victories and a combined $140,461 earned solely in the region.
