CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The harness racing lasses of the Marc Campbell stable came to play Thursday evening at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The evening featured Fillies and Mares preferred pace saw Dreamfair Zenfire lead through every station to win by two-lengths in 1:55.4 for trainer-driver Campbell and owners Ryan and Everett MacLeod of Souris. Gonna Fool Ya (Driven by David Dowling) grabbed the deuce in the $2,850 class while Filly Forty Seven (Jason Hughes) was third.

Arc Light was another Campbell winner with a power move to the front in the Fillies and Mares preferred 3 class stopping the clock in 1:55.3 for Crossroads Racing Stable of Stratford.
Gilles Barrieau continues his lead in the Red Shores driving standings with three winners on the night. Outrageous Song opened up the card with a maiden breaking score of 2:00.3 with Barrieau in the bike for trainer Ron Matheson. His next win came from his own Mount Herbert Stable with three-year-old Bettors Delight filly Divine Deo in 1:56.4, while the Ron Gass stable provided Barrieau’s third triumph with Ms Moyse in 1:58.1.
Gass had two winners on the night as Pictonian Thunder (Brodie MacPhee) closed out the program in race 10 with a 1:58.2 victory.
Total wager was $58,069.
