Six-year-old mare Villefranche As (Conway Hall) surpassed $200,000 in career earnings as she won a Pop-Up Series division for trotters on Friday (Jul. 30) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
Louis-Philippe Roy oversaw a second-quarter move to the front from the lead and got the mare home by a neck over Heavensdor Hanover (Jody Jamieson) in 1:55.1. Cold Rage (Syvlain Filion) finished third.
VILLEFRANCHE AS REPLAY
Mark Goddard trains Villefranche As for Howard and Joshua Kaufman. The mare is 16-for-92 lifetime and has earned $201,670.
Roy and Goddard teamed up to take the second division with Magnificent Seven (Chapter Seven) in similar fashion by six lengths in 1:54.1. Mystic (Chris Christoforou) took second over Brydown Houston (Trevor Henry).

Magnificent Seven, a six-year-old stallion, has won 12 times and earned $110,959. Brandon Guerra owns him.
Shes Got Pizzazz (Manofmanymissions), guided by Paul MacDonell, also scored via a second-panel move in the first divsion. She was a length clear of Magic Wanda (Christoforou) as she passed the wire in 1:56. Tymal Houdini (Doug McNair) was third.
SHES GOT PIZZAZZ REPLAY
Alan Fair trains Shes Got Pizzazz for Elizabeth Fair. The seven-year-old mare has 18 victories in 124 career starts and a $257,156 bankroll.
Hawaii (Justice Hall) captured the third split, again with a brush after the quarter. Filion drove the four-year-old mare to a length-and-a-quarter win in 1:55.4. Andy Over (Ed Hensley) took the place cheque. Texaco Man (Bob McClure) closed for third.
HAWAII REPLAY
Hawaii, a Rick Zeron trainee, has raked in $234,352 and won seven times in 34 starts for Rick Zeron Stables.
Also on the card, St Lads Dark Angel (Control The Moment, McClure) built on her debut victory in the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots with a 1:53.2 win. The two-year-old filly races for trainer John Pentland and owners Malcolm and Bradley Macphail.
