The harness racing feature race of the evening at The Raceway at Western Fair District Tuesday evening (Nov. 1) was the 10th race when a field of ten trotters went for a purse of $10,000.

SIZZLEN HOT HERBIE REPLAY
Earlier in the card, driver Tyler Borth found himself in the winnerās circle numerous times and ended up getting a hat trick. He won the first race of the day in the time of 1:57.2 with a three-year-old filly that goes by the name of Arizona (Up The Credit). His next win came in the fourth race with Chappiesboy (Sportswriter). Borth and the five-year-old gelding won in the time of 1:57.1.
Borthās most impressive win of the evening came only one race later when he won with the 24-1 longshot, Playfull Elegance (Elegant Man). The five-year-old mare upset the field of eight and helped make the winning pick-5 ticket pay over $2,500. Borth is having his best year as a driver in 2022 with 263 wins and just shy of $1.8 million in earnings.
Another highlight on the eveningās card came in the third race when the three-year-old filly, Ethel (Sportswriter) won in her debut race. She finished the mile in 2:00.4 and was able to outlast the rest of the field. She was the morning line favourite to win the race but once betting was officially opened, bettors started leaning a different way. But Ethel with trainer Patrick Barr in the bike was still at 2-1 odds and was the second favourite heading into the race.
The Raceway at Western Fair District will be back in action on Friday at 4:50 PM Eastern.
