Whats Inthe Esky A, Nuttin But Finesse headline final card

Whats Inthe Esky A looks for his third straight victory at Connell Park Raceway and his twelfth win of the year in Saturday’s Rob Kitchen Memorial.

Colin Decourcey will drive for the Bala Stables and he has earned close to $ 30,000 on the season. He will leave from post four in the five horse grouping.

Nuttin But Finesse and Mike Downey will have the outside post five for owner Dr. Mitch Downey of Saint John and Mike is looking to win the track’s dash winning title. He’s tied with Gilles Barrieau with 12 victories.

He was second by a quarter length last outing to Whats Inthe Esky A and won this year’s Gold Cup and Saucer consolation.

Watchmaker has drawn the coveted rail position for trainer Ellen Stevenson and owner Dr. Mitch Downey of Saint John. He’s fresh off a win in 1:59.2 last week.

Bet On Lucas and Sam Hodgin will have post two for owners Lexie and Kassie Dickison and trainer Robyn Dickison. He has won two of his last three races including a 1:58.3 new record.

Chuck You Farlie and Mark Haig will be Robyn Dickison second entry in the field and is owned by Brandon Dickison and Jordan White. He was second two starts back and paced in 1:59 flat.

Saturday will mark the final card of the 2025 racing season and there are six races in total in the afternoon starting at 1:00 P.M.

Driver Colin Decourcey has a shot at the tracks driving title as he has 10 winners and just two behind the veteran Mike Downey.
