Wilcat Rocky (Hes Watching) scores his first Preferred Pace victory on Monday (Mar. 3) at The Raceway at Western Fair District.
Travis Henry pushed the five-year-old gelding straight to the front once the harness race commenced and they coasted to a 27.3 opening quarter. With the lead steadily in hand, Wilcat Rocky only posted a 30-second panel. For a brief moment, he was challenged by Docsphillycheese (Alford Carroll) at the half-mile station but Wilcat Rocky, having the inside position, was able to fight him off. That was the closest anyone else got to the lead, but Wilcat Rocky was just that much better and went wire-to-wire in 1:55.3.
Cheddar Bay (Bradley Harris) was second best and Docsphillycheese would hold onto third.
WILCAT ROCKY REPLAY
