Wind Blown returned to dominance on Friday as he smashed his rivals in the feature harness racing pace at Truro Raceway by more than 12 lengths.
After missing the start by a length, trainer and driver Bernard McCallum sent the gelding forward on the pylons to secure third position. McCallum pulled him to the outside and pointed him to the front as the field of seven entered the backstretch, and the duo reached the lead after completing the first quarter mile in :27.2.
McCallumās job was complete at that point – Wind Blown set a :56.3 half and obliterated the field in the back half, hitting three-quarters in 1:25.2 while up by four and a half lengths and storming to the finish for a 12Ā¾ length victory in 1:54.1.
Imalookertoo (Danny Romo) won the contest for second after closing from last. Dont Ask Logan (Mary Clare Macdonald) finished third.
