Some of the winningest horses at the Hippodrome 3R in 2021 are in action this Sunday including X O X O and Histoire Enchantee.

X O X O sports seven wins this year and could take control of the lead in the 3rd race trot. X O X O is the lone three-year-old in the field owner, breeder and driver Jerome Lombart of Bromont.

Sired by Angus Hall, X O X O will start from post one. She is tied with the three-year-old pacing filly, Platine Alpha, each with seven wins this year.

Her main rivals will be Hetties Magic (post 5), who is coming off a 2:00.1 triumph last week at H3R for driver Jocelyn Gendron and the entry of Alexus En (post 6) and EAU Naturelle (post 7), who are both owned and trained by Carl Duguay.

Then there is Histoire Enchantee from post 8 in the 11th race pace. The game seven-year-old gelding by Shanghai Phil has been red hot for trainer-driver Simon Delisle, winning four of his last five starts.

Histoire Enchantee has six wins, all at H3R this season so it is possible to have a three-way battle for the winningest horse honors on closing Sunday, November 7. In his last start Histoire Enchantee wired the field in 1:56.2.

He will face a tough task going against Like Lightning Lou (post 2) and driver Jessica Turenne. A four-year-old gelded son of Sweet Lou, Like Lightning Lou is red hot on a four-race winning streak, the fastest a 1:57.2 score two starts back.

Also, a return winner in the field is Free Proof (post 6), who will be driven by Steven Gagnon. Last week Free Proof scored the biggest upset of the year at H3R, closing from seventh place at the three-quarters to win by a neck in 1:58.1 at odds of 56-1.
