Nominations due for Woodbine Mohawk Stakes

MILTON, ON – May 13, 2024— The Woodbine Mohawk Park Race Office would like to remind all harness racing participants of a variety of stakes nominations and sustaining that are due on Wednesday, May 15.

Woodbine Mohawk Park is a top destination for racing two-year-olds, with Summer Series available ahead of its lucrative Grand Circuit events. The following two-year-old series, all featuring two preliminary legs and an added money final, will once again be offered:

• DREAM MAKER – 2YO OPEN – PACE ($50,000 ADDED)
• WHENUWISHUPONASTAR – 2YO FILLY -PACE ($50,000 ADDED)
• MILLARD FARMS– 2YO OPEN -TROT ($50,000 ADDED)
• PURE IVORY – 2YO FILLY – TROT ($50,000 ADDED)

Yearling stakes payments are also due on May 15:

• 2025 CHAMPLAIN OPEN DIVISIONS (FOALS OF 2023) ($360,000E)
• 2025 CHAMPLAIN FILLY DIVISIONS (FOALS OF 2023) ($360,000E)
• 2026 SIMCOE OPEN DIVISIONS (FOALS OF 2023) ($350,000E)
• 2026 SIMCOE FILLY DIVISIONS (FOALS OF 2023) ($350,000E)
• 2026 WOODBINE ENTERTAINMENT’S STANDARDBRED BREEDERS OF ONTARIO ASSOCIATION (SBOA) FILLY (ONTARIO SIRED FOALS OF 2023) ($260,000E)
