CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Woodmere Cecil was aggressive from the start on his way to a lifetime best performance in Joe O’Brien Memorial grassroots harness racing action on the Saturday afternoon program at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Paul Langille trains and drives the son of Rollwithitharry who sprinted through fractions of 27.3, 54.3, 1:24.1 and 1:54.4 to win his $9,100 O’Brien Grassroots division. The winning horse is owned by Debbie Francis, Blake Wells and Rosanne Langille.

The other grassroots split went to Tobins Native (Driven by Darren Crowe) in 1:56.2 for owners Charles Piper Jr., Robert Siteman and William Shearer.
TOBINS NATIVE REPLAY
Gonna Fool Ya won the Linda Ford Memorial in race 10 for trainer-driver David Dowling in 1:56.2 over Dustylane Zambucca (Corey MacPherson) and Miss Kabana (Paul MacKenzie).
GONNA FOOL YA REPLAY
Dowling scored three wins on the day including a maiden victory aboard Watchhimtreasure (2:02.2) in race 1 for trainer Earl Watts and with After Market (1:59.2) for trainer Ron MacDonald in race 8.
