The Jean Michel Bazire harness racing trainee Elie de Beaufour (8g Royal Dream-Pignata) took today’s (Sept. 21) Grand Prix Federation Regionale du Nord (Gr. III, purse 100,000€, 2700 meters autostart, International 4-10 year olds) at La Capelle, France.
Race time was 1.13.8kr by the easy front-end winner reined by Alexandre Abrivard that is owned by Eric Lavallois and Elie recorded his 29th career victory now for 871,000€ earned.
Second home was 2.9/1 Decoloration (9f Prince d’Espace) with Gabriele Gelormini aboard for owner/trainer J.M. Baudouin. Third was 9/1 Elvis du Vallon (8m Reve de Beylev) and pilot David Thomain with fourth to 16/1 Fakir du Lorault (7m Vaillant Cash) for Francois Lecanu.
On Sunday at Paris-Vincennes there will be two groupe level monte events including the Gr. I Prix des Elites (purse 240,000€, 2175 meters for four year olds) and the Gr. III Prix Georges Dreux (purse 90,000€, 2850 meters for 6–10-year-old International trotteurs).
