The race was inaugurated in 1928 and is now raced over 2011 meters autostart.
The race record was set by Robert Bi in 2015 at 1.10kr.
The 2021 winner was Cyber Lane, his second victory in this race.
A number of past winners have American connections – Wishing Stone, Legendary Lover K, Moni Maker, SJ’s Photo, Keystone Pioneer and Elaine Rodney.
