The Jean Philippe Dubois bred mare won for the third time in 30 starts advancing her life earnings to 115,410€ with today’s 1.13.8kr timed score.
The 3.1/1 favorite Is Magic Haufor (5f Prodigious-Sonate d’Haufor) held second after making a three-wide surge in the final bend for driver Damien Bonne and trainer/owner Christophe Bigeon. In Love With Chenu (5f Briac Dark) set the pace at 50/1 and held third for owner/driver/trainer Pierre Pellerot.
In the Prix de Richelieu (purse 35,000€, 2850 meters with 11 three-year-old starters) the 8/10 odds favorite King Georges (3g Fabulous Wood-Barbotine) scored in 1.14.8kr for trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire and Ecurie Olmenhof. The winner secured her second victory in five career starts now for 32,975€.
The 15/1 odds outsider Kwartz Sibey (3g Diablo du Noyer) was second for trainer/driver Louis Baudouin. Third was 2.7/1 second choice Kamaro du Donjon (3m Saxo de Vandel) handled by Eric Raffin for Charles Dreux, the owner/trainer.
Tomorrow at Paris-Vincennes is the Gr. II International monte Prix Paul Duguet (12 starters racing 2850 meters for 120,000€ purse). The top-flight performers include million euro plus trotteurs Granvillaise Bleue and Elie de Beaufour as well as the top trotting Happy And Lucky, Hirondelle du Rib and Fire Cracker, as they tighten up for the Cornulier prize in January.
