Kyrielle des Vaux (3f Rolling d’Heripre-Noisette des Vaux) started the action by winning the Prix Urgent (Gr. III monte, purse 80,000€, 2700 meters for 12 three-year olds) for jockey Guillaume Lenain and trainer Charley Mottier. Off at 2.9/1 the Dominique Gallienne owned filly now has three wins in 11 career starts for 155,320€ earned. The 16/1 Kado Shining (3g First de Retz) was second for Alexis Collette and trainer Guillaume Gillot. Third was 7.3/1 Koncord Delo (3m Dreamer Delo) for Francois Lagadeuc and Guillermo Roig-Balaguer. The 2.3/1 odds Kerry Love (3f Brillantissime) and 6.9/1 Karla de Mai (3f Bold Eagle) completed the top five finishers.
In the Gr. II monte Prix Joseph Lafosse (purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, nine International five-year old starters) Ideale du Chene (5f Bird Parker-royale du Chene-Hello Jo) exploded mid-lane to win in 1.13.3kr for jockey Paul Philippe Ploquin and trainer Julien LeMer at 7/1 odds. Yvonne Guedj bred and owns this classy mare that now has 776,050€ earned from seven wins in 40 appearances. Finishing second was the 6/10 favorite Ina du Rib (5f Uhlan du Val-Tina du Rib) handled by J.L.Cl. Dersoir for conditioner Joel Hallais and Ecurie Rib the owner/breeder. The 14/1 odds In Love du Choquel (5m Carat Williams-Star du Choquel) was third for Francois Lagadeuc in the irons for trainer Nicolas Bridault. 90/1 Inqui Danica (5m Boccador de Simm) and 20/1 Irina de Bailly (5f Look de Star) completed this top five on the line.
The Prix de L’Ile de Re (monte for 6-10 year olds, 2850 meters distance handicap, purse 75,000€, 12 starters) included top flight aged performers led by the 1.6/1 odds winner Filwell (8g Qwerty-Regence-Insert Gede) with jockey Camille Levesque for trainer/owner/breeder Pierre Levesque. Filwell won for the 18th time in 66 starts for 548.560€ earned. He was handicapped 25 meters and steadily advanced on the outer until victory was secured. The 15/1 and also 25 meter handicapped Esperanza Idole (9f Quido du Goutier-Fan Idole) was a rallying second with J-Y Ricart aboard for owner/trainer Noel Langlois. Her dam Fan Idole was a 37 time winner in 89 career starts for 2,184,389€ earned for Rochard William Denechere.
Third in this race was 48/1 Heros de Beylev (6g Rieussec) and jockey Mathieu Mottier followed by 22/1 Giant Meslois (7g Booster Winner) with Guillaume Martin up and then fifth finishing14/1 Hotline de Carsi (8f Vigove) and jockey Benjamin Rochard.
Between monte action was the Prix de Picardie (purse 62,000€, 14 European four-year olds traveling 2850 meters) that had 2.7/1 odds favorite Dundee As (4m Maharajah-Fortune As) secure the win for trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire and owner Anna Zappella. Dundee won for the first time in FR covering eight starts but advanced her life earnings to 162,330€. The 6.7/1 Gericault (4m Muscle Hill-Reverie d’Ar-Kuadro Wild) was a game second for Christophe Martens, trainer Vincent Martens and Ecurie Black and White. Jango Vici (4m Dragon des Racques-Tabarka Vici) was third for Benjamin Rochard at 8.9/1 as a blanker of horses advanced together to the line. Antonio Ripoll Rigo trains this one. Destino DJ (4m Wishing Stone-Malia) was fourth with Francois Lagadeuc teaming for H.E. Bondo. Fifth was 18/1 Dragowski (4m Algiers Hall) followed by 8.1/1 Jaguar du Goutier (4m Ready Cash).
