Earlier in the card Invader AM (5g Muscle Hill-Vladzia Mauzun) took the monte Prix des Andelys (purse 33,000€, 2700 meters for European five year olds) timed in 1.14.3kr. This L.C. Abrivard trainee was handled by jockey Alexandre Abrivard and is owned by Jean Pierre Barjon. He won for the first time in FR to advance his career earnings to 39,456€.
Near the end of the program was the Coupe Europe des Amateurs (purse 15,000€, 2100 meters autostart) and Enerise Flash (9f Nahar de Beval) was an easy 1.14.9kr winner for driver Xavier Bovay and trainer Henk Grift.
