What a finish!!! The 2023 Amerique Sale by Arqana-Trot wrapped up this night at Paris-Vincennes Hippodrome with a flurry. The full sale recap follows. J.P. Dubois’ consignment and breeding exploits were on full display.
The sale toppers reflect among the best FR pedigrees, mostly the work of J.P. Dubois. The sale leader Ksar (Follow You-Tes Amours), a winner last week at Vincennes, brought 470,000€ from Earl Elevage Manulau and four the top five sellers were presented by Dubois’ Beauvoisiniere that sold nine lots for 1,198,000€.
The second highest seller has Moni Maker in the maternal family along with the dam of Belina Josselyn.
The Friday night sale session was held in conjunction with the Etalon Expo, providing a promotional showcasing of leading FR Trot organizations and much personal interactions. Here Marie Ortolon Bar and Jean Pierre Dubois chat in the France Trotting USA booth. Their booth promotes Cuatro de Julio’s entry to the US stallion ranks.
Sunday’s 2023 Prix d’Amerique now has a scratch of Etonnant who reportedly suffers from lyme disease. The field of now 17 remains wide-open with some newcomers among the likely favorites as shown in the Equidia chart.
