Aetos Kronos wins Stall Geljs at Halmstad

Aetos Kronos (7m Bold Eagle-Will Of A Woman-Muscles Yankee) went from last to first off the final bend to win the Stall Geljs (purse 125,000SEK to the winner, or 10,525€, 2140 meters autostart, eight starters) at his home track Halmstad.

Orjan Kihlstrom teamed Aetos to his second straight victory for trainer Jerry Riordan and owners Team Snyder AB and Aetos Dios AB. This was Aetos’ 19 career victory in 58 starts now for 12,408,346SEK in career earnings. He was off the 1.6/1 odds favorite and was clocked in 1.11.9kr. Heart Of Steel (9g Cantab Hall-Angel Heikant-Open The Sky) was second for driver Peter Untersteiner and trainer Johan Untersteiner at 6.3/1. Third to the line was Cokstile (10m Quite Easy-Joystile-Coktail Jet) at 14/1 with Mattis Orlando driving for trainer Tommy Karlstedt. This one had failed to hit the board in five previous starts this year. Last year Cokstile won over 7.6SEK million of which was his Yonker International victory. Today Rackham (7m Love You) and Ultion Face (7g Joke Face) completed the top five.
