Antonio Di Nardo teamed this Gocciadoro trained winner. Finishing second was Eclat de Gloire (9g Tiego d’Etang-Vive Fee-Love You) handled by Loris Garcia the trainer for Ecurie Vieux Chene. Always Efie (7m Filipp Roc-Nike EK-Varenne) captured third for trainer Allesandro Gocciadoro. Cointreau (5m Nad Al Sheba) was fourth for driver Fed Exposito with fifth to Zacon Gio (8m Ruty Grif) handled by Roberto Vecchione for Holger Ehlert, Bonneville Gifront, Cokstile, Verdon WF and Jimmy Ferro BR was unplaced.

There were three batterias leading to the final. These events carried purse of 8,250€ and were raced over 1600 meters autostart. Always EK (7m Filipp Roc) took batteria A timed in 1.12.4kr for Gocciadoro. Vesna (5m Nad Al Sheba) was second for Rene Legati with third to Cointreau for Fes Esposito ahead of Achille BLV (7g Ganymede) and Enrico Bellei. Batteria B went to 1.12.1kr timed Akela Pal Ferm (7f Maharajah), the eventual final winner, for Antonio Di Nardo. Verdon WF (9m Raja Mirchi) was second for G.P. Minnucci ahead of third finishing Vincer’Gar (9m SJ’s Photo) and fourth finishing Jimmy Ferro BR (5m Love You). Batteria C then went to 1.11.4kr timed Eclat de Gloire (9g Tiego d’Etang) handled by trainer Loris Garcia as they defeated Bonneville Gifont (6f Varenne) and third finishing Cokstile (10m Quite Easy) the former Yonkers International winner as was fourth finishing Zacon Gio (8m Ruty Grif).
Earlier this week the great champion made his last public appearance before adoring fans. The 28-year-old was a 41-time winner in 46 starts for over 2,300,000€ earned and continues to breed more great trotters.
