Allaire sweeps the Enghien groupe IIIs

Philippe Allaire owned and trained students swept Groupe III events at Enghien on Saturday (Aug. 6).

The Prix de Geneve (Gr. III, purse 90,000€, 2875 meters, European four year olds) went to the 5/10 odds favorite Izoard Vedaquais (4m Bird Parker-Dokha Vedaquaise) timed in 1.13.1kr for pilot Eric Raffin. Allaire owns and trains this one that was bred by J.P. Guay. The winner now has 15 career victories good for 601,600€ earned. Stablemate Callmethebreeze (4m Trixton-Gilly LB) at 11/1 odds sat the pocket and held second for Andrea Guzzinati and owner/trainer Allaire. The 15/1 Italiano Vero (4m Ready Cash-Baraka d’Henlou) rallied for third with Davis Thomain aboard for owner/trainer Allaire.

The Prix de Berlin (Gr. III,  purse 90,000€, 2850 meters, European three year olds) saw the 6/10 favorite Just A Gigolo (3m Boccador de  Simm-Blue Valentine) prevail in 1.14.0kr with Franck Nivard up for breeder/owner/trainer Philippe Allaire.

This was his 10th career win now for 450,450€ earned. The 8.3/1 Joyner Sport (3m Dollar Macker-Carla du Padoueng) waa next for owner/trainer Allaire and driver David Thomain. Third home was 16/1 Jet Sey Bond (3f Prodigious-Royal Crown) handled by Eric Raffin for trainer Jean Michel Bazire and owner Michael Rizieri. In this event Look Of Love finished seventh reined by the legendary Jean Pierre Dubois.
