400,000€ Prix de Paris goes to the mare

The Prix de France Speed Race winner Ampia Mede SM (7f Ganymede-Polimpia Slide SM) rallied in the lane to win the Gr. I Prix de France Marathon Race at Vincennes, France Sunday (purse 400,000€, 4150 meters for International 4–11-year-olds) timed in 1.15.9kr.

This was the third FR Triple Crown third and final race. Franck Nivard teamed the Fabrice Souloy trainee for Scuderia Se.Fin as the great mare recorded her 16th career win now for 1,293,096€ earned.

She was off at 3.4/1 odds and defeated 18/1 Harlem de Bucy (6m Lilium Madrik) with Alexandre Abrivard. Third home was 3.6/1 Hooker Berry (6m Booster Winner), the Prix d’Amerique winner trained and reined by Jean Michel Bazire. The 8/1 Hussard du Landret (6m Bird Parker) and 25/1 Honey Mearas (6f Readly Express) completed the top five with Hohneck sixth after battling for the lead top of stretch with Fado du Chene. Two other groupe tests followed the Prix de Paris. Alexandre Abrivard won both and also set a Winter Meet record with 94 victories.

In the Prix de la Mayenne (Gr. III, purse 90,000€, 2700 meters for European 5–6-year-olds) he won with Inexcess Bleu (5g Vittel de Brevol) that L.C. Abrivard trains doe breeder/owner Michel Galier. Timed in 1.13.8 this one recorded his ninth career win now for 277,130€ earned. Have A Dream and Horchestro were next to the line.

In the Prix Vivier de Montfort (monte, purse 90,000€, 2700 meters for 7–11-year-olds) the aforementioned AA was the jockey of the L.C. Abrivard bred/owned/trained Fakir de L’Eclpse (8g Chef di Chatelet) as this winner recorded his 14th career victory ad advanced his bankroll to 4235,080€.
