Bazire triples at Vincennes

Jean Michel Bazire started today’s superb Vincennes card with three victories starting with the Prix Zosma (purse 53,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 15 five year old starters) victory at the lines of 9/10 odds favorite Destiny di Poggio (5f Bold Eagle-Sand Grenade) timed in a sharp 1.10.1kr.

Scuderia Mistero Srl owns this four time winner in eight starts in France that JMB trains. Her earnings are 118,730€. The 2.8/1 Joker des Chaliers (5g Coup de Poker) with Gabriele Gelormini up and 32/1 Dana EK (5f Vivid Wise As) handled by Jean Philippe Monclin captured second and third respectively.

In the Gr. II Prix Uranie (purse 120,000€, 2175 meters voltstart, 11 three year olds at the start) the 1.10.7kr timed winner was 1.1/1 odds favorite Lisa Josselyn (3f Ready Cash-Belina Josselyn) driven by her trainer Jean Michel Bazire for Yvan Bernard the owner/breeder. Lisa has achieved eight wins in 12 career starts for 313,900€.  She defeated 5.8/1 odds London (3f Rockfeller Center) with trainer Mathieu Mottier aboard for Danielle Mottier the breeder/owner. Louvede Reve d’Or (3f Bold Eagle) was a 20/1 third handled by Eric Raffin for conditioner Marc Sassier.

JMB also drove and trains Joumba de Guez (5f Carat Williams-Quoumba de Guez) to victory in the Gr. III Prix Pierre Van Troyen (purse 80,000€, 2700 meters, 15 starters ages 4-5 years) timed in 1.11.7kr. She was 4.5/1 odds and Joumba recorded her seventh win in 29 starts for 305,960€.

Jombu de Guez

Kiara de Vandel (4f Charly du Noyer-Silene de Vandel) was next driven by Alexandre Abrivard for La Tour de Vandel and trainer L.C. Abrivard. Jango Vici (5m Dragon des Racques) was third as the 1.8/1 odds favorite reined by Benjamin Rochard for conditioner Antonio Ripoll-Rigo.

On the back of the twilight starting card was the Gr. II Prix Victor Regis (purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, nine three year old starters) and the 5/10 odds favorite prevailed timed in 1.13.7kr, the name is Lombok Jiel (3m Enino du Pommereux-Surabaya Jiel). P-Y Verva reined the J.L. Dersoir trainee to his seventh career win ibn 14 starts. Ecurie Luck owns and bred the winner of 420,325€. Loulou de Mye (3m Clif du Pommereux-Arista de Mye) was second at 6.5/1 odds with Matthieu Abrivard driving the R.C. Larue trainee for Ecurie du Mont Joly. Little Brown (3m Goetmals Wood-Blue Grass) captured third at 21/1 with David Thomain aboard for trainer Philippe Allaire and breeder/owner Christophe Toulorge.

Monte specialists then competed in the Prix Herve Ceran Maillard (Gr. II, purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, nine five year old monte trotteurs) with the 1.10.8kr timed victory to 8/10 favorite odds Jeroboam d’Erable (5m Prodigious-Amiraute). Damien Bonne was the winning jockey for trainer Charly Thomain and owner  Ecurie du Haras d’Erable.

Jeroboam was victorious over 6.4/1 Jamaica Phedo (5f Magnificent Rodney) ridden by Eric Raffin for trainer Olivier Touvais and breeder/owner Pierre Touvais. June (5f Booster Winner) ended third at 4.7/1 odds for jockey Mathieu Mottier training for Ecurie D.M. Mottier.
