Bengan wins STL Gold at Farjestad

Bengan (6m Django Riff-Restless Legs-Credit Winner) gamely took the STL Gold (purse to winner 150,000SEK, 2140 meters autostart, 12 harness racing starters) at Farjestad clocked in 1.10.5kr at 61.64/1 odds.

Rikard N. Skoglund teamed this Daniel Reden trainee for Stall Zet/Reden to his eight career victory for 4,183,263SEK earned. Dundee As (6m Maharajah-Fortune As-Tenor de Baune) held second at 9.27/1 with Carl Johan Jepson driving for Alessandro Gocciadoro trainer for Sipila Annamari. Kentucky River (7m Father Patrick-Flicka River-Ready Cash) rallied to end third at 4.8/1 driven by Orjan Kihlstrom for JimBit AB and trainer Reden.

On the undercard was the STL Dubbelklasslopp (150,000SEK to winner, 3140 meters distance handicap, 14  starters) where High Five DK (6m Quite Easy-Roxy Hill-Ganymede) scored in 1.13.5kr at 8.2/1 odds.

The winner recorded his 12th career win with this late  charging rally engineered by Carl Johan Jepson for Christoffer Eriksson training for Soderhill AB. The 25.3/1 Fashion Monger (5g Panne de Moteur-Tunika-Zola Boko) was a close second for Dwight Pieters and  Maria Tornqvist, followed by 20 meter handicapped Herakles Zet (5m Propulsion-Bellatrix Zet-Hard Livin) at 6.3/1 for the Kihlstom/Reden/Stall Zet team.
