Trainer Veljko Mazsity was at the lines for owner Hico as the winner recorded his 12th career victory in 30 lifetime starts. This was his fourth win in 10 starts this year.
The 7.6/1 and 60 meter handicapped Zlatan LTW (7g Miguel Duhamel-Jeaanne Sun-Grundy’s Ebony) was second for trainer/driver Arpad Lakatos. On the undercard, the Laszlo Torok Memorial (purse 700,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart) went to 1.5/1 favorite Zante Font (7f Quaker Jet-Life Together) with Balazs Juhasz up for trainer Goran Zolnaji. Race time was 1.15.7kras the winner defeated 2.1/1 Battisti Grif (5m Varenne) with Veljko Mazsity up and 13/1 Grand Illusion (9g Andover Hall) was third for Nemanja Masic.
In the Hansa DIJ (purse 700,000Huf, 2560 meters distance handicap) the 6.6/1 odds Krack du C;ocher (8g Abano As-Ulla de Clairince) scored in 1.17.4kr for pilot Joze Sagaj and trainer Zenco Osterc. The even money favorite Lego d’Amore (8g Mago d’Amore) was second for Antun Horvatski with 15/1 Acelo FIU (6m SJs Photo) landing third for Andrea Fazekas.
