Borups Victory takes Gr. I Paralympiatravet Final

The famous Paralympiatravet led the special harness racing card today at Aby Sweden. 10 Trotteurs contested the Paralympiatravet Final (Gr. I International, purse to winner 1,500,000SEK, 2140 meters autostart) and 3.45/1 odds Borups Victory (7m Googoo Gaagaa-Borups Julia -Naglo) was a comfortable winner for trainer/driver Daniel Wajersten and Stall Droad AB.

This was the winner’s 18th career victory in 40 starts for 12,195,583SEK. Home second was 3.79/1 odds San Moteur (8m Panne de Moteur-Aung San Suu Kyi-Ready Cash) reined by trainer Bjron Goop for Stall Arvidssons AB. Inmarosa (7f Amiral Sacha-Varkava-Oiseau de Feux) captured third at 20.26/1 odds with Leo Abrivard aboard for trainer L.C. Abrivard and owner Jacques Cottel. Onas Prince (8m Chocolatier) was fourth and A Fair Day (6g Maharajah) landed fifth  in this talented field.

In the undercard’s co-featured Konung Gustav V (Gr. I International, 1,000,000SEK to the winner, 2140 meters autostart, 12 starters four year old males) the 1.47/1 odds favorite Free Time Jepson (4m Face Time Bourbon-Titty Jepson-Varenne) scored timed in 1.11.2kr.

Trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro handled this nine time career winner in 14 starts for owner Chelsea Srl. Luke The Spook (4m Greenshoe-Noblesse Blue Chip-Credit Winner) was second for trainer/driver Adrian Kolgjini at 39.96/1 odds for owner Courant AB. Izod Zet (4m Propulsion-Marsia LB-Windsongs Legacy) was third at 7.95/1 odds for Orjan Kihlstrom driving for Stall Zet/Daniel Reden.

The undercard companion was the Drottning Silvias (Gr. I International, 1,000,000SEK purse to the winner, 2140 meters autostart, 12 starters four year old females) and 21.08/1 odds Panthere d’Inverne (4f Brillantissime-Margareta Amok-Andover Hall) scored for trainer Andre Eklundh timed in 1.12.0kr.

The STL Diamantstoet (purse to winner 300,000SEK, 2140 meters autostart, 12 starters mares age five) saw trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro score again, this time with East Asia (5f Ready Cash-Elvezia-Pine Chip) timed in 1.11.1kr. She bested second finishing 33/1 odds Nortolanda (5f Bird Parker-You’ve Got Mail-Love You) with Michel F. Rothengatter the trainer/driver. Meghan B.R. (5f Face Time Bourbon-Henna BR-Donato Hanover) landed third at 15.2/1 odds with Orjan Kihlstrom handling the Frode Hamre trainee for SeMu Racing or Norway.

Yesterday at Rattvik in the Marknadssprinterm (purse 10,170€, 1640 meters autostart, three year olds and up) the Elitloppet invitee and even money favorite Francesco Zet (7m Father Patrick-Shaqline-Credit Winner) won an Elite tuneup timed in 1.09.4kr for his 27th career victory in 33 starts for 23,525,000SEK earned.

Chapuy  (11g Quite Easy) was second  at 24.2/1 for trainer/driver Ake  Lindblom with 29.4/1 Idomenio Sisu (7m Googoo  Gaagaa) third for R.N. Skoglund.  The Elitloppet invitees so far are Francesco Zet, Etonnant, A Fair Day, Mellby Knekt, Go On Boy, Logan Park, Borups Victory and The Locomotive.
